What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is described as a chronic irritation, inflammation, and eventually degeneration of a joint. This can occur in almost any joint in your body but is most common in knees, hips, spine, shoulders, and hands. Oftentimes the inflammatory processes of arthritis can cause excessive swelling of the joint and lead to pain and erosive changes. If left untreated degeneration continues to the joint and breaks down the cartilage used to protect the joint.

A hands on manual therapy technique used to stretch soft tissues, especially muscles, tendons, and ligaments in the body. This highly effective therapy works to treat and prevent trigger points, scar tissue, and myofascial restriction.

Dry Needling

Also known as trigger point dry needling, uses small needles are used to stimulate trigger points in the muscles to decrease sensitivity, pain and relax tight muscles.

Kinesiology Taping
